Centre for Educational and Social Development (CESD)

CESD is a voluntary organization registered on December 2007 under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 and the Public Trust Act, 1950. It is working for the educational, social and emotional development of slum and rural youth. The objectives of the organisation include creating social, economic and political awareness among the people so as to sensitize them. It organises programmes on formal and non-formal education, community health and rural development.

The main aim of CESD is to promote employment oriented and income generating activities in slums and rural areas with a view to make people economically productive.
